Courtney is a board-certified dermatologist and practicing physician at Comprehensive Dermatology of Pasadena. She completed her dermatology training, MD and Master of Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident. She has also served on the board of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and formerly an instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School.

Kimmy is a lifelong maker and serial entrepreneur. She has built multiple companies at the intersection of consumer and healthcare, from changing the way Americans pay for their prescriptions to developing femtech products that make our periods work better for us. Kimmy is a founding partner at 8VC, where she has the privilege of backing some of the brightest minds who are shaping the future.

Dr. Panta Rouhani Schaffer is a board-certified dermatologist and Chief Product Development Officer at Fig.1. A physician-scientist and NYU faculty member, she brings deep expertise in procedural dermatology and evidence-based skincare innovation. She ensures Fig.1’s formulas are grounded in science and clinical rigor, while also helping make skincare science approachable as part of the Medical Advisory Board.
